Control Air For Mac

The capability to manually adjust fan speeds and control a Macs fan system has been around for quite a while, and longtime readers may recall SMCFanControl from the original Intel MacBook line from back in 2007, and that tool still works on those older Macs, whereas Macs Fan Control functions on modern Macs. I just got a mac, and when doing research, using the 'control f' thing on the PC was helpful. It's not working on the mac. Is there something else a mac can do that will help me find a certain word I'm looking for in an article?

ForControl

I've been having trouble with many applications since you must hold control and left click to highlight different things. But, when you hold control and left click on a MacBook, it emulates as right click, or control click. Is there an application to make is so that when I hold control and left click, it will just left click instead of right clicking? I don't want to modify the control key to where it's another key (like the Option or Command Key), or to where it has 'No Action.'

Control

I've tried Karabiner but it doesn't seem to work with High Sierra. And Karabiner Elements doesn't seem to have any rule/command that says 'Control+Left Click to Left Click.'
